Mup will automatically share noteheads when it can figure out it is safe and proper to do so. However, there may be some unusual cases where you would like to force the notes from two voices to share noteheads even when Mup would not do that. That can be done by specifying a horizontal offset of zero, i.e., [ho 0], on one or both of the voices.
